- How it brews
- The trapezoid (wedge) cut of Cafec's higher-abaca paper, in 101/102 sizes for Melitta-style wedge brewers rather than a cone. The wedge seat and the flat-ish bed it makes are the point: it fits Melitta-wedge drippers and interchanges with other wedge papers there, not with V60 cones. Cafec publishes no flow class for it, so flow is left unrated. As with the rest of the ABACA line, a quick rinse before brewing is common.

- How it brews
- Kalita's classic trapezoid (wedge) papers — 101 for 1-2 cups, 102 for 2-4 — for flat-walled wedge drippers, distinct from the crinkled Wave line. The wedge shape drains through a slot at the base rather than three round holes; it's an older, budget-friendly format shared with the Melitta seat. Kalita publishes no flow class for these and there's no reliable within-seat ranking, so flow is left unrated. If your dripper is a wedge (sloped, ridged, slot at the bottom), this is the paper; if it's the round three-hole Wave, you want the Wave paper instead.
