Japanese company founded by Ryo John Ito in 2018 to import and sell specialty coffee equipment in Japan, acting as the official Japanese reseller for a number of brands before extending into beans and seminars. From 2020 it began making its own gear under the line "Be simple, brew perfect.", and the Simplify Brewer — funded on Kickstarter in 2021 and manufactured in Japan — is the first piece it designed rather than imported. The house argument is that the brewer, not the hand, should do the difficult part: no bloom, no circles, no stirring.
