NextLevel Pulsar
NextLevel Pulsar Nextlevel by Caleb Schwarz

Featured in NextLevel's recipe collection, Caleb Schwarz's Pulsar method opens the valve fully early and uses two pours with assertive swirls. The added movement and fast drainage are tuned for lively acidity, high clarity, and a juicy finish.

Notes

Swirl firmly after each pour but keep the motion repeatable to avoid migrating excess fines. Coffees that naturally produce many fines need a coarser grind to maintain flow. For more developed roasts, shorten the brew ratio so extraction stays sweet rather than dry.

Grinder

600 µm gap (9.5 on stock 078 burrs).
