miknayr's daily NEO recipe on a Hario Switch base: bloom and first pour in full immersion with the valve closed, then open at 1:15 to drain. The immersion adds body the open NEO alone would not give.

Method

With the valve CLOSED, pour to 45g and let it bloom.
To 45g 8s Circular -
0:30 02Pour
Still closed, pour up to 110g.
To 110g 12s Circular -
1:15 03Wait
OPEN the valve to begin the drawdown.

1:30 04Pour
Pour up to 210g.
To 210g 15s Circular -
2:45 05Done
Let it finish draining and serve.
