- A reusable organic-cotton pad cut to the AeroPress filter cap, from CoffeeSock. Cloth sits between paper and metal: the cotton absorbs some of the oils a metal disc would pass, yet lets the acids through, so the cup reads clear and crisp without the papery note of a fresh paper filter. It's washable, lasts about a year of daily use, and composts at the end of its life. No published within-seat flow rating, so we leave flow unrated.

- The unbleached version of AeroPress's standard round paper disc — same cap seat, covering the Original, Clear and Go, just a natural-brown sheet instead of the white one. Under the pressed column the paper's job is to catch fines and oils for a clean finish, and the only objective difference from the bleached disc is the absence of oxygen bleach; any taste difference beyond a proper rinse isn't asserted here. A quick rinse is common to knock back any paper note. AeroPress prints no flow rating and there's no reliable within-seat ranking, so flow is left unrated.
