- The larger disc for the AeroPress XL, in the unbleached natural sheet rather than the white one — it fits the XL cap only and does not drop into a standard AeroPress. Its job is the same as any AeroPress paper: catch fines and oils under the pressed column for a clean cup, with the natural version differing only in the absence of bleach. A rinse before brewing is common practice. No flow class is published and there's no dependable within-seat ranking, so we leave flow unrated.

- The reusable stainless disc that replaces the paper micro-filter in an AeroPress cap — the same part is sold as the Gold-Tone, and an XL version covers the larger brewer. Because it's a metal mesh rather than paper, it lets more oils and some fines through, so brewers tend to get a fuller, more textured body and more sediment in the cup than the clean paper finish. It's a one-buy, washable option with no ongoing paper cost. AeroPress publishes no flow rating and there's no reliable within-seat ranking against the paper disc, so we leave flow unrated rather than guess.
